We wanted to make something beautiful and functional, and were drawn back to the past with the timeless classic tin bath. It's smooth curves and roll top form an iconic design that makes you think of a warm bath by the fire! Most baby baths on the market now are made from hard, cold plastic and look very utilitarian. So we worked hard on researching and selecting the best material to compliment our stunning design. After many different tests and trials we have found the perfect material to make Shnuggle Bath from. The material is EPP A non-toxic, baby safe, foam which can be formed in any colour we choose. It is warm and soft to touch, kinder to baby skin and has fantastic insulating properties to keep the water warmer for longer. This is the only bath of it's kind! Our design also incorporates a fantastic safety feature we call the "Bum Bump" which helps prevent baby from sliding under the water. The simple design is contoured to match the shape your baby, and presents the most comfortable and natural position for baby while you wash him. Baby sits in the bath, slightly reclined, but fully supported, freeing up both of your hands to wash and interact with your baby, to make this time a special bonding experience rather than a chore. Our design is created using real life measurements from hundreds of 0-12 month old babies, giving us a bath which is ideally shaped to suit your baby up to 9 months and is perfectly sized to reduce water consumption but have enough room for your baby to move and for you to interact with him. The bath also featured integrated lifting handles to make it easy to move the bath around your home, and the easy pour lip to ensure easy emptying. As the material is so much lighter than moulded plastic, the whole bath is so much easier to carry and store. |
